The Easi-Dec ‘Body-Guard’ Verge Barrier for simple, rapid and safe, working at height.
The ‘Body-Guard’ Verge Barrier is designed for short duration work on roofs up to 5m deep. ‘Body-Guard’ is particularly useful when fitting solar arrays close to gable ends where conventional scaffolding would be too costly. This design caters for solar panel arrays fitted very close to gable ends and only requires 30cm of exposed tile area at gutter, ridge and verge.
Operational Description
In it’s folded condition, ‘Body-Guard’ is rolled up the verge on it’s wheels with the 2 battens fitted. Once in position the handrails are locked upright. The final task’s are to tie-off to the edge protection and load the counterweights which will sit over the first row of tiles just above the gutter and the last row just below the ridge tiles.
