Sign and Panel Lifter is a simple but effective means of safely lifting and positioning any item that requires fixing at height.
Designed primarily as a means of positioning screens when securing vacant property, Sign and Panel Lifter may also be used to lift and position; signs, air-conditioning units, aerials, satellite dishes, in fact almost anything up to a maximum weight of 50kgs.
As quick to erect as a ladder, and incorporating safety devices to comply with the Working at Height Regulations, Sign and Panel Lifter allows you to work quickly and safely without the need to erect time consuming access platforms.
Technical Specification
Sign and Panel Lifter is based upon a quality 2 or 3 section aluminium extension ladder manufactured to EN131.
Any double (up to 4.5m) or triple (up to 3.5m) ladder may be supplied, each with the following permanently fitted unique features
- Top-Stay/Stand-Off - positioning the ladder at a comfortable distance away from the wall and providing a high resistance to roll-over.
- Bottom Stabilisers - folding, adjustable ‘spurs’ providing lateral stability and an increased resistance to slip
- Rope & Pulley Hoist - allowing the user to safely hoist up to 50kgs whilst only ‘feeling’ 25kgs due to the mechanical advantage of 2:1
- Safety Clutch - a one way clutch to secure the load automatically at any convenient position
- Ladder Lock - a spring loaded catch that automatically locks the sections of ladder together during use
- Load Fixing - the standard fixing is by spring clip, alternatives are available to suit various applications
