We recently had the pleasure of playing host to the Glass and Glazing Federation’s (GGF) Renewable Technology Group by opening their Group meeting with a demonstration our safe access platforms including the Roofline System.
The Roofline System has been designed to provide simple, rapid access to roofline level and to the roof itself, without the time constraints of erecting scaffolding. The System comprises one or more Easi-Dec platforms linked securely with our Catwalk to form a continuous fully-guarded access platform.
Following the presentation, John Hawkins from Roman Glass and Deputy Chair of the Group opened the meeting by thanking us for our excellent and informative presentation. “It was interesting to see at first hand just how quick and easy the Easi-Dec systems are to erect and I can see how over time they can provide a cost effective alternative to scaffolding.”
The GGF’s Renewable Technology Group was formed to support the increasing number of GGF Member companies diversifying into the installation of Solar PV or Solar Thermal systems. The Group meets quarterly to discuss members’ interests, concerns, vision and planning in addition to current and proposed commercial and technical issues and standards.
