About the company:
A UK based company specialising in a vast range of glazing and home improvement products and services.
The issue:
The company identified that they were spending around £1million per annum on scaffold towers and scaffolding, and along with the high costs there was also the issue of scheduling the work subject to availability of the scaffolders.
In order to deliver the work more efficiently, and significantly reduce the spend on scaffolding by up to fifty percent or more each year, they endeavoured to look into alternative mobile scaffold solutions.
The Solution:
The Easi-Dec team were happy to demonstrate the Easi-Dec Roofline Safe Mobile Access Platform to the companies Head of H&S and purchasing team.
We also visited a number of branches to demonstrate the system and how adaptable it was for use on different types of properties.
The company was impressed with how easy the Roofline Safe Access System was to assemble and dismantle, as well as just how versatile it is, and of course the remarkable savings to be made compared to using scaffolding for every job.
This lightweight, portable access platform enables the team to work more efficiently by allowing them to schedule more jobs and set up the system themselves, rather than waiting for scaffolding to be installed by qualified scaffolders before work can commence.
The decision was made to place an order for a significant number of systems for use nationwide. Full training was provided for all end-users across the country over the following weeks.
