Roofs of all kinds can be a hotbed of risks and dangers, and people who access them, both legally and illegally, put their life on the line. Most falls from roofs are caused by people falling through the roof as opposed to going over the edge.
By taking advantage of the many products Easi-Dec offer designed to provide additional safety to you, and other workers, on unknown or fragile roofs, you can ensure you avoid any predicatable nasty accidents or legal problems.
The Roof Walk is a lightweight aluminium walkway, allowing access from eaves to ridge whilst spreading the load on support battens, providing you with a safer working position.
This system is particularly useful for fragile roofs, and the mesh walkway allows for full visibility. The 4m, 3m, 2m or 1m systems can be easily linked, and have an integral work positioning line, with optional accessories including single or double sided handrail, a Ridge Hook and a Valley Stop End.
Valley-Walk is a mobile safety cage for you and one other person, or a light payload, specifically designed for light maintenance of valley gutters such as inspection, cleaning or resealing.
Manufactured from high-grade aluminium the Valley-Walk is lightweight, easily assembled, and adjustable for most roof angles. The cushioned outriggers and safety mesh provide good visibility and safe weight distribution, and the system can be ‘parked’ on a suitable wind-free roof area.
The Roof-Walk is a fully guarded rolling work platform, mounted on twin tracks to enable you to move up and down the roof, and overcome the challenges of working on fragile roofs.
The Roof-Walk will provide you with a safe working position for skin maintenance, inspection, cleaning or re-sealing work.
The rolling platform is available as 4.6m as standard, although it can also be made as a 2.5m platform, and runs up and down twin modular 2x4m linking track sections that are fitted with safety mesh and support battens; these rest on the roof, and require no penetration at all.
Body-Guard
The Body-Guard system is designed specifically for domestic edge protection, and cane either be fixed against the fascia or the roof edge itself. The system is available in either 3m or 1.5m sections, with an adjustable midsection.
A choice of short or long legs ranging from 1m to 6.8m high are available, and the legs themselves are telescopically and separately adjustable for sloping ground conditions. The feet can be finely adjusted in 30mm increments for perfect levelling.
