About the company:
Cambrian Electrical started as a family business in 1987.
Provide a vast range of electrical services for domestic, commercial and industrial properties, with the more recent addition of solar installations and maintenance.
The issue:
‘We rely heavily on scaffolding and it’s difficult getting the scaffolders available when we need to do the job.’
‘The other issue for us is going back to do repairs or maintenance, especially on the solar panels, again do we wait for the scaffold or try doing it with just a ladder? And if the product is still under warranty, we have to foot the bill for that cost as well.’
The Solution:
After searching online, Cambrian Electrical came across a YouTube video about the Easi-Dec Access Platforms and contacted the Easi-Dec team to find out more.
Following further discussions, it was concluded that the Solar-Line System would meet their requirements, consisting of one Solar Access Platform with gantry, one Easi-Dec Access Platform and a Catwalk.
Convinced that the Solar-Line System was the ideal solution to help them to do the job whilst keeping their team safe when working at height, they didn’t even require a demonstration but proceeded to purchase along with some supporting products including Ladder Spurs, and some CoverSafe Spark Mats which are ideal for accessing loft spaces to install the Solar inverter.
We had the pleasure of meeting the Cambrian Electrical team when they came to visit the Easi-Dec offices for training.
